你有沒有發現最近這幾年, 越來越多男人開始注重自己的外表, 花錢花時間保養皮膚, 剪最酷的髮型, 穿最炫的衣服和鞋子, 一定打扮的票漂亮亮才出門, 這些男人不是GAY 喔!  可是不折不扣的異性戀! 不管是台灣或歐美都吹起這樣的風潮, 型男這個說法也就應運而生, 那英文要怎麼說哩?

metrosexual  n.

Definition: A straight man who embraces the homosexual lifestyle, i.e. refined tastes in clothing, use of designer hygiene products, etc.; straight men with a strong concern for their appearance, and who display many of the lifestyle tendencies of stereotypically gay men 異性戀型男

Example:

Amanda: Do you think the guy in the party last night was interested in me? 你覺得昨晚趴踢裡那個男生對我有興趣嗎?

Joan: You are talking about Donald? He's gay. 你是說Donald 嗎? 他是同志啦!

Amanda: Because of his Armani suit and stylish hair? I am pretty sure he's into girls.  He's just a metrosexual.    因為他的亞曼尼西裝和髮型嗎? 我很肯定他喜歡女生啦! 他是個異性戀型男

Metrosexual 從好幾年前就在歐美流行, 許多俊俏的男明星都大膽地玩起造型, 讓男女粉絲都為之瘋狂, 紛紛起而傚尤, 最成功也最有名的例子便是貝帥了吧~~

想當metrosexual的你, 努力做到下列幾點就離目標不遠了喔：

1) 你不去巷口的家庭理髮找歐巴桑剃頭, 一定要有專屬髮型設計師

2) 你愛穿Banana Republic, H&M, Armani Exchange, Sisley, Zara, Club Monaco, Abercrombie & Fitch.....的衣服

3) 你有各種不同顏色花色的襪子數雙

4) 你有十雙以上不同的鞋子(籃球鞋不算）

5) 你愛讀男性雜誌, 掌握最新時尚

6) 你擦香水

7) 你穿名牌內褲

8) 你的女人緣讓其異性戀男人忌妒, 你的外表讓同性戀男人羨慕

9) 女人和男同志都搞不清你愛男人還是愛女人

最後.....

10) 你必須愛女生, 否則你就是Homosexual, 不是Metrosexual 了喔!!
