to bite the hand that feeds you

Definiton: to act badly to the person who has helped you; to behave badly toward someone who they depend on  忘恩負義 恩將仇報

Example 1: It's not wise to bite the feed that feeds you.  恩將仇報非明智之舉。

Example 2: Lisa might not like her job and her boss, but she has no intention of biting the hand that feeds her.  Lisa 或許不喜歡她的工作和她的老闆, 但她可沒有忘恩負義的企圖。

To bite the hand that feeds you 從字面上看, 意思簡單明瞭, 就是把餵你吃東西的手咬一口。

有人餵你吃東西, 你還不感恩在心, 反而去咬人家, 對方會作何感受呢? 肯定不會想繼續餵你吃了。甚至不想再理你。

所以最好不要忘恩負義 恩將仇報, 傳到很多人耳朵裡之後就難再有機會接受幫助了。
