think (one's) shit don't stink

Definition: to think that one is better than other people; when someone is acting cocky and full of themselves 覺得自己的便便不臭; 意指自大, 高高在上, 覺得自己最棒。

Example 1: Jordan has no friends because he think his shit don't stink.  喬登沒朋友, 因為他自認比所有人都高尚。

Example 2: Jesscia acts like her shit don't stink.  She rarely talks to us.  潔西卡一副自以為是的樣子, 很少跟我們說話。

有些人應該已經發現 shit don't think 的文法怪怪的, shit 既是不可數名詞, 不是複數, 那麼助動詞應該用 doesn't, 怎麼會是 don't?

這是因為此一說法為口語, 所以文法不是那麼嚴格, 而且大家已經習慣這樣說, 就不會為了文法正確而刻意改變。會用到 shit 這種粗俗字眼, 也很明顯不是針對正式場合和寫作上使用, 所以千萬要小心斟酌喔!  好友之間可以說說, 別在長輩和長官面前說~
