跟很多人一樣, 我喜歡fancy 的東西, 我喜歡上好吃的館子, 逛高檔shopping mall, 買好看的衣服, 但是有一天我的英國朋友問我 "Do you fancy seeing a movie?" 第一次聽到fancy 當動詞用哩....
fancy v.
Definition: to want to have or do something (British English)
想要(英式英語)
Example:
1) I don't fancy playing tennis now.
2) Do you fancy some coffee?

我知道這個單元叫作美國人這樣說, 並非英國人這樣說, 一定有人會抗議, 但是就算住美國也會碰到英國人耶, 像我的遭遇就是如此啊...轉的硬不硬?

對!!常聽英國佬用到這字. 幾乎跟lovely , bloody 這些一樣頻繁 . 這就像華文在我們老台跟老中口中就有不同講法吧?
